Year 9 Coral Point Process Drama

"It has been rumoured that 'TIMBERBREAK' PTY LTD is going to mill trees for timber at Coral Point's own COOK FOREST. What comments do you (i.e. your character) have to make about this unannounced development? What implications could timber milling have for the town, the people, the environment etc?"

This can't happen. I mean, it's totaly going to ruin the whole purpose of coral point being known for, well, coral point! How can we say, 'come to this magnificent place' when we have twenty tonne boats sailing up and down the beach everyday and possibly spilling oil all over the place. You tell me how are people supposed to go surfing in oil drenched beaches without coming out looking like mud monsters. I'm not going to let this happen! Not now, not ever!!

the ligthhouse has beein a long time historiacal landmark. Who do these people think they are coming ina nd taking away our history and they must not destroy cook forest as this is my favourite place to have picnicsand if they destroy it there is no where else to go. This must stop! i will not let it go ahead.

This can't be happening, i can't believe that they want to tear down our beautiful forest and get rid of our old lighthouse. i hope the mayor will say so no to this plan.

Peace out

I have not been staying at Coral Point for very long but I believe that cutting down the local forest area would be a disaster for the community. As a conservationist I disagree with the unnecessary removal of the forest area as it is a home to many animals and contains the very valued Hoop Pine. The transport of the logs by boat could cause sever marine damage and Coral Points main attraction could be lost. The replacment of the old lighthouse would also ruin my chances to write an article about the hauntings that have taken place there.

NO!! I may be the mayors son but let me tell you this has no influence whatsoever on my decision to hold a protest if this 'investment' goes any further. It is morally wrong to destroy Coral points beautiful surroundings over some derranged thirst for wealth, i'm sorry but I won't stand for it!

WOW!! that felt good :]

As one of the female police officers in Coral Point I also am very environmental. When this rumour first came to me while I was on my daily schedule of keeping this town safe I was in complete utter shock I actually dropped my mouth open right there and right then. I never thought t would cut the ONLY and beloved forest Coral - Tree Park. From what I have heard it has been apart of Coral Point for some time now and not only to the peers in this town BUT the animals. Yes the animals, t live and have a life in that forest but Timberbreak wants to ruin the lives of the people but mostly the animals. I would really appreciate if this rumour was not true or if the company would change their mind.

This is stupid! I know there could be many positives about the logging but there is probely even more negitives! I realy hope that this is just a rumour, if not then it could cause even more tension and monstrosity to our sleepy little town! If it is not a rumour then I hope our town can come to a solution that everyone can agree on.

I was reading through the newspaper today when I found this article. it claims there is a rumor that says the local forest (Cook Forest) is going to be cleared, it wil be transported by boat which menas oil spills, and the person that lives in the lightouse will have to find somewhere to live because they
will replace it with a new digitally controlled one. I, for one think this is horrible, but on the other hand, it's great, because i'm sure people will hate this, which means they will be angry at the mayor, which i think is great because then they might vote for me. I also think Beau Sebastien will be delighted. I still haven't told him i am against his ampitheatre, i can't break his heart. better he finds out sooner than later, I suppose. I mean, if he's against it then that might mean even more votes. But, yes I am against it. I think Coral Point doesn't need all that money. It could only lead to disaster.

Absouloutly not! Though this article may just be a rumour i do not want it to happen! Though the article says our town would benifit from the industrys, i belive our town is great the way it is.

We don't need/want the oil spills in our oceans nor do we want the huge 20 tonne boats ruining our beautiful beaches and spilling oil in our sea's and coral, for whivh our town is known for.

We also do not want the lighthouse to get knocked down as it is not only home to our great friend, Peter, but it is also Historical some in our town.

TIMBERBREAK, WE DON'T NEED YOU, OR UR INDUSTRIES!

I heard the news this morning about the rumor going round about the forest clearing and i think personally that this would be devistating to Peter(the light house keeper)he would have to live somewhere else. That would deveste me. Not to mention the amount of forest animals and sea creatures that would be devistated be this as their habitat would be damaged. If this happens I would be terribly awful. Got to go

As i predict the worst i find that this rumour is absoulutely absurd, this should not follow through. I curse and forbid the so called... Timberbreak organisation if they dare to touch our unsullied forest.

Many of Coral Point's value and fresh air are supported and supplied by this forest. It a complete catastrophe that if this goes through our historic and well known landmark of Coral Point- the lighthouse will be replaced. I will not stand for such destruction.

I have come here to Coral Point to relief my inner being. If this goes through, I curse those whoever are responsible- "ackna forbidna, turkwise echna GONE". This catastrophe should stay as a rumour and never become true.

I am both appalled and disgusted that Timberbrake may go ahead with the logging of the trees in the forest. This includes the very valued Hoop Pine, which is a very rare species. In times like this it makes me wonder whether the Mayor is going to do anything about it.

Being a businesswoman myself, the only reason for Timberbrake making such a move, is because their company is going broke therefore they aren’t making very many sales and they want to ensure their company is going to be around for a while. I find this absurd; as you are a good businessperson you should know how to run your business properly. It it doesn’t look like the manager of Timberbrake knows how to promote or run his business properly.

What is most worrying is that if we loose some or most of our beautiful forest, we will loose most of the wildlife and animals that dwell in this habitat. Also we won’t get as many tourists here, this means that most of the business which thrive purely on tourists, will possibly go broke.

I do hope that this will be dropped and everything will return back to normal in Coral Point

my gosh, my gosh how can people think of cutting down these trees and how can they of transporting it by boat. If they transport it by boat they might or maybe will spill oil in our special coral area the main attraction at coral point. How can these people even think of cutting down the trees and then have it transported over the coral. THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS

my gosh, my gosh how can this happen. How can these people damage two things at the same. They are going to cut down the trees and have it transported by boats. These boats are more then likley to spill oil in the water which means they are going to spill on top of the coral the main attraction of Coral Point. I am more than shocked. THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS

Oh No! This can't be happening. I think that chopping down Coral Points only forest is TRAGIC. As part of the police of Coral Point and a proud protector of Coral Points beautiful surroundings I think that this shouldn't happen. It may harm the environment and so we will lose what we are known for. Nobody will want to come to Coral Point if there is a chopped down forest, some dead coral and oil in the water and on the beaches. It may give us more money but the fact is we don't really want more money.

ALL WE WANT IS OUR FOREST TO STAY!

This is a terrible thing to do, i know my bother Beau Sebastien Rich, Thinks this idea is a new way to improve business around coral point. But we can do that and save the forest at the same time. I am ageist this building construction and how will peter Mcfarlen feel when he has NO! home to live in, and the animals will have no where. think about it people think about it!!!
VOTE ONE FOR MAYOR MITCH RICH~~!!

Today at the town meeting I was appaled that the town mayor was supporting the logging and reconstruction of the lighthouse. These are the towns main attractins and they can bring many tourists and therefore money for the community if promoted corretly. I would like to congratulate Meeb Rich for standing up agaisnt his brother Beau Rich and putting him in his place. That 16 year old should not be deciding the future of this town.

Today at the town meeting held in Coral point, much drama and anger had risen. For today the Mayor had announced that the timberbreak organisation will come through to Coral point.

All though it is said that this industry coming through to coral point may seem good, but i am appalled. Mainly because i appreciate this small town to STAY as a small town.

as i do not want our forest to be cut down, i would like any electives or anyone who can figure out a better solution.

I would like to congratulate the Mayor for handling issues that he was hit with. (very proffessional). i would also like to commerate all those who had spoken out for their believes.

until the future awaits the best, i just hope and predict all good to happen.

Yesterday at the town meeting, i was disgusted at the decisions made, especially by our town leader. His decision to go through with TIMBERBREAK makes me very annoyed. Mostly because the lighthouse is my home and for the Mayor and Beau Rich to be supporting this idea is just beyond my irish blood. I defiantly do congratulate Meeb Rich for standing up for his beliefs and against his brother. I also want to thank Galia and all the others who support me,with the decision to keep the original lighthouse standing.

I am outraged with what Mayor Rich had to say. I think he showed his true colours at the town meeting the other day. I mean his decision is going to affect everyone in the town and as he could see none of us liked it but he was still going to go through with the plan anyway. That will be the last time I ever vote for him again EVER. I say vote 1 Mich Rich!!!

I was annoyed that. the mayor of coral point could do such a thing to us, As the son of the running Candidate Mitch rich. I think that i should be able to have a say in whats going to happen to this beautiful town of ours. i think that Waine Rich has really showen the true side to him, i think he is selfish, and not right for the Position of mayor, all he has ever wanted is to get free dougnuts,He has never stoped to think about us, i have always been told to shut my mouth by my brother because he has always thought he is better cooler hotter smarter than me, but an issue like this i just can not hold back i must tell the people what i think even if it costs me everything i have in my life which isn't much
please VOTE no to timberbrake it is not going to help us its going to make us nothing PLEASE
vote 1for mitch rich.

today at the town meeting i was appauled at the way the town handled the Mayors decision. I mean seriously the trees arnt all that good. And the industry would be all for the better. The Mayor bought us fourth to tell us about his plan that he ALREADY DECIDED was to go through. He delivered the news and got the feedback. If My Father Mitch Rich ever becomes Mayor i will be ashamed to be his Son as i know he wont go through with timerbreak.

Thankyou
Beau Rich.

Oh My Gosh !:o
I can`t believe that SOMEONE has poisened the fortune teller !
We should change our town name to madness because Clearly everything in Coral Point is going mad. I`m going mad from these two hoboes that keep asking for BEER at my FISH n CHIPS SHOP, the mayor I think was born mad, JUST EVERYTHING IS MADNESS. I`m sure your all aware that Galia was poisened with RATSACK :O
Yesss ! Tragic..
There are heaps of people I have a feeling might have tried to harm Galia by suspicious acts that have been seen around Coral Point. But for now i will keep these possible SUSPECTS in mind for our next town meeting.

The town meeting the other week really suprised me, i can not believe Wayne Rich the mayor is actually for timberbreak coming to Coral Point i will not it allow to happen iam going to protest against it.I had my say and i hoped it got people thinking about this major senario, that is going to happen. Galia (the local gypsie) also had her say and really got me thinking and i know it got others thinking as well.

Then all of a sudden when we went to the pub for dinner and drinks, galia who made a strong case all of a sudden got poisoned with something called rat sack, OMG. who could it be?
Who is a murder?
I think it could be the rich family Galia always hated their ideas for the town what if they wanted to get her out of the way.

And Just the other the reporter and her assistant found something that could be a hit list, and my name is on it Ahhhhh, what does al of this mean.

today the town was called to a town meeting. no-one knew why, but i had my suspisions, i think that it might be about timberbreak. i went to the meeting and as i suspected the meeting was indeed about timberbreak. Waine has decided to go ahead with timberbreak. i KNEW this would happen. this will be great for my reputation. but honestly i really did feel like he was making a bad decision. But oh well, it's his job on the line. there was this lady that got up to ake her point, she did a very good job. Her name was... Galia.

After the meeting i felt ashamed of my family name and what Waine had done. Everyone in the town was shouted dinner and a drink at the pub. Everyone was chatting and aking small talk when all of a sudden Galia, the lady that did a speech fell to the gound and taken to hospital. they found out she had been poisned by ratsack. who was it? I think it was Waine, I knew he never liked her, they had had their moments in the past.

Just the other day I went to get a coffee at the coffee shop when this reporter lady and her assistant found a piece of paper that had all these names on it and mine was one of them. The coffee shop owner Flo Rider tried to take the piece of paper of the reporter, she was acting very suspisious.
