Louis Nowra is the author of a number of plays such as Capricornia, Cosi, The Temple Radiance, Page 8, The Woman with Dog Eyes, The Marvellous Boy and The Emperor of Sydney. Nowra has won many awards including the 1992 NSW Premier's Literary Prize for his play Cosi. He was winner of the Victoria Premier's Prize 1994 for The Temple, and of the Australian Literary Society Gold Medal.
