Year 10 - Children's Theatre
On Thursday, May 14th, the YEAR 10 DRAMA class presented group-devised Children's Theatre plays for students in Grade One from St Joseph's School, Nundah, and Holy Rosary School, Windsor.
The four groups who presented were very successful in delighting and entertaining the children.

The children's theatre performance was a very fun experience. It was a challenging process but it definitely paid off. The performance its self was alot of fun! Performing for an audience other then your peers made it that much more exciting.

As it was our first performance infront of a group other than our drama class, we didnt know what to expect. After lots of practice and preparing, when the day finally arrived we anticipated a spectacular few hours and we were definitly right. The childrens interaction worked as planned and all the groups did an amazing job.
Thanks Mrs Fletcher, it wa a freat experience for all.

Children's theatre was a very interesting and at times a somewhat challenging aspect of our yr 10 drama work, however it was a beneficial experience and all of the groups had great finished performances

I found that the childrens theatre was a very rewarding experince and have become less nervous when it comes to performing infront of crowds no matter how old they are. I would be more then happy to do it again.

I agree with all of the other girls comments, Children's Theatre was the most exciting drama unit we've done so far. I really think this amazing experiance has boosted our class'confidence by preforming in front of another audience and I know i would love to do it again.

Childrens Theatre was an awesome experience and one that i know the whole class will never forget !
im so glad we got to experience performing infront of a differnt type of audience, and get to try a new style of acting.
i must say at first it sounded easy, but as it went along it got harder and harder, but i have to say its so worth it !
thankyou so much Mrs Fletcher :)

Childrens Theatre was a once in a lifetime experience. It was so different to perform infront of little kids, they weren't afraid to yell out and interact with the girls performing. While it was challenging it was also a very rewarding experience.

Children's theatre production this term was a thrilling, captivating yet difficult experience. All of us as a whole class did wonderful on our individual and group performances. Congratulations to everyone on a great effort. Presenting and performing our plays infront of the children was really exciting. We all overcame the difficulties involved but it all payed off in the end
This Childrens Theatre unit has been an extremely rewarding experience for myself and the whole class. Even though we all performed in a different environment and in front of different children none of the girls ever lost their focus. I know my group and I are very thankful for the opportunity to write and produce a play we can call our own.
I really can't wait to see what drama has in store for us all in the future.
Thank you Ms Fletcher this was a very enjoyable unit and i hope we can all do it again one day
